Congratulations to the 2010 Pyramid Award Winners

At the opening reception of the 2010 Manning Networking Conference, we took the opportunity to celebrate excellence in Canada's conservative movement with the annual Pyramid Awards. Congratulations to the 2010 Pyramid Award Winners:

Ideas and Public Policy: John Carpay Networking: Dave Quist Political Technology: C2C Journal Legacy: Colin Brown


Ideas and Public Policy: Awarded to an individual or organization that has made a significant ideological or public policy contribution to the conservative movement.
2010 Winner is John Carpay for building the Canadian Constitution Foundation, a legal forum and public interest legal resource to defend Canadians’ constitutional liberties.
Past winners:
2009: Tom Flanagan in recognition of his most recent book Harper's Team.

Networking: Awarded to an individual or organization that has made a significant contribution in bringing together conservative activists and thinkers.
2010 Winner is Dave Quist for organizing regular meetings among Ottawa conservatives, and also for bringing together a wide variety of people around a fresh approach to marriage and family research at the Institute for Marriage and Family Canada.
Past winners:
2008: John Williamson for organizing regular networking meetings in Ottawa.
2009: Wade Myall for his efforts to organize networking opportunities in Winnipeg and Ottawa.

Political Technology: Awarded to an individual or organization that has employed political technologies to strengthen Canada's conservative movement.
2010 Winner is the C2C Journal for their success in building an excellent online journal. Editorial Board members Joseph Quesnel and Chris Schafer accepted the award on behalf of the C2C Journal.
Past winners:
2008: Stephen Taylor and Craig Smith for founding BloggingTories.ca.
2009: Michael Davis from RMG for his achievements with phone and online GOTV, fundraising, and voter ID.

Legacy: Awarded to an individual who has made a significant lifelong contribution to Canada's conservative movement.
2010 Winner is Colin Brown for his work with the National Citizens Coalition.
Past winners:
2009: Ken Azzopardi for his work in building the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.
2008: Michael Walker for his life-long contribution to the Fraser Institute and to economic freedom.
