Gwyn Morgan is a nationally recognized business leader, a strong believer in the importance of world class Canadian head-quartered international enterprises and an avid outdoor and fitness enthusiast . He devoted three decades to building one of Canada’s largest energy companies, leading the creation of EnCana Corporation through a merger which was widely viewed as the most significant transaction in Canadian energy sector history. He stepped down as founding CEO at the end of 2005.

Mr. Morgan has been recognized as Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year TM, and also as Canada’s Most Respected CEO. He serves as a director of a number of international corporations and Trustee of national non-profit organizations. He is an Honourary Colonel (retired) of the 410 Tactical Fighter Squadron, Canadian Air Force, Discipline. Ethics and integrity underpin his view that business leaders should demonstrate the professional and personal values upon which our country was built. Working to improve public policy in wellness, education, and career opportunity characterizes his public service record.
