Mike Harris was a trustee for the Nipissing Board of Education 1974 and then became the President of the Northern Ontario Trustees Association 1980, He was first Elected to Ontario Legislative Assembly 1981. He was elected the Leader of Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario 1990 and sworn in as Premier of Ontario 1995. He resigned seat as MPP and as Ontario Premier 2002.
