Manning School of Political Management

“Political management” is more than political science and is a discipline distinct from public administration or business management.

The Manning School of Political Management aims to train future ‘political executives’ by developing the particular skills and abilities required by people filling such positions as the Chief of Staff in the office of an elected official, executive positions in political parties, campaign teams, non-governmental organizations and interest groups.

The Manning School of Political Management is under the direction of Dr. Andre Turcotte who is a tenured professor at Carleton University. Courses offered under this program have included: Policy Implementation, Political Communications and Law-Making.
