Manning School of Practical Politics
The Manning School of Practical Politics provides practical training to grassroots activists and volunteers in key campaign and organizational skills.
With voter turnout at an all time low, the political process needs to be demystified and reinvigorated. By drawing on years of political experience, and some of the brightest minds in the conservative movement, the Manning School of Practical Politics aims to: Train future political leaders at the grassroots level, Teach key campaign skills to improve the quality and effectiveness of grassroots activists and Help more conservatives get elected
The Manning Centre believes that the conservative movement’s most important resource is its people, and that as a movement we must invest more in our grassroots activists and our future leaders. With this goal as its primary mission, the Manning Centre’s School of Practical Politics offers the following training resources:
Campaign Manager Training:
Our campaign manager program teaches students the skills required to manage a local election campaign at any level. With courses taking place across the country, please check our website to find out when we will be in your part of the country.
Online EDA Executive Training:
EDA (riding association) Executives are the most important organizers on the ground for any political party, yet little training exists for them. The Manning School of Practical Politics has developed online training for EDA Executives so that riding associations across the country can improve the organize their ridings.
Campus Leadership Training:
Our campus leadership training program helps university and college students fight for conservative values like free speech, learn practical political skills, and gets more students involved in campus politics.
Municipal Campaign Schools:
If you’re thinking of running for municipal office, or want to help someone who is, the Manning Centre’s Municipal Campaign School can help you learn the skills necessary to have a winning campaign.
