Gwyn Morgan serves as Director of the world’s largest global bank, London based HSBC.
Prior to this, he was Chairman of one of the world’s leading engineering companies, Montreal based SNC-Lavalin Group. He also devoted three decades to building EnCana Corporation – North America’s leading independent oil and natural gas production company. When he stepped down as founding CEO of at the end of 2005, EnCana had an enterprise value of approximately $60 billion.
Morgan has been recognized as Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year and also as Canada’s Most Respected CEO.
In December 2011, Governor General David Johnston announced his appointment as a Member of the Order of Canada.
