Helping Young People Fight Back: Motus 2015
Recently the Manning Centre hosted "Motus 2015" - a training retreat for young people from across Canada.
In conjunction with Generation Screwed, an initiative by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, we taught young people valuable skills to help repel those who are pushing for bigger and bigger government. We taught young people how to use the Freedom of Information Act to research government information and expose wasteful spending. Young people also learned how to write a news release, hold a good event and the do's and don'ts of media interviews to name a few of the activties from Motus 2015.
