Second Poll of Calgarians’ Attitudes on Major Civic Issues
The Manning Foundation for Democratic Education today released the results of an opinion survey of 2,000 Calgary citizens.
The issues ranged from the recent floods to affordability, crime and other issues. Overall, the top issues from last year’s survey remain in top contention this year, with accountability of local politicians appearing quite high in this year’s study. Despite the severity of recent floods in Calgary, dealing with the impact of the flood did not rank as the top issue for Calgarians.
